Summertime in Boston

July 30, 2016 |

Summer is one of the most enjoyable seasons in Boston. For the most part, Bostonians have a wide array of outdoor activities to pick and choose from.

Being on the water certainly has its advantages and many Boston luxury home owners near the Waterfront can attest. There are water activities such as sailing on the Charles River or the harbor. There are marinas for the existing mariners, or sailing schools offering lessons for those who need it. A recent client purchased Boston luxury real estate on the water and adopted sailing as a hobby, since it was so convenient.

Then again, there are many with Boston luxury homes without private boats and plenty of rental boats for occasional fun and relaxation. Not too many cities that can offer this kind of luxury, being so close to the water. There are also sightseeing boats to the outer islands and tours of the Harbor in addition to whale watching tours, paddle boarding and windsurfing on the Charles.

If you’re not into water sports, there are all kinds of activities available in the city. Boston luxury real estate owners benefit from free concerts, art fairs in different neighborhoods, organized races from biking to jugging, free yoga in the park, and the list continues.

Whether you’re sports oriented, an art enthusiast, intellectually inclined or a music lover, Boston offers ample activities to pique anyone’s interest. Having a Boston luxury home, means never having to take vacation since everything your heart desires is nearby your doorstep. It’s always vacation time in Boston.
